What: Tri-campus - Tamil Remembrance Day
When: Tomorrow (Friday, November 20, 2009)
Where: UTSC Room AA112

Join us for Tamil Remembrance Day, a day honoring all those who’ve suffered, sacrificed and perished in the Tamil struggle.

The evening will include performances, speeches and a moment of silence as we commemorate all the lives and livelihoods, lost throughout all these years.

This Tamil Remembrance Day holds a greater significance as the events of this year are vividly etched in our minds. Tamil Remembrance Day is a time for everyone to come together to reflect upon, remember and revive the memories of our fallen heroes.

Join us on November 20,2009
at UofT Scarborough in room AA112.
Program starts at 6:00pm.

For anyone wanting to volunteer, we will be leaving for UTSC at 2:00pm from the sussex clubhouse.

21 Sussex Avenue (known as Sussex Court on the official campus map) is located at the corner of Sussex Avenue and Huron Street, in the shadow of Robarts Library, one block west of St. George, one block east of Spadina, and two blocks south of Bloor, it is within an easy walk of both Spadina and St. George TTC stations.



TSA Charity Volleyball Tournament

What: TSA Charity Volleyball Tournament
When: Wednesday, November 11, 2009 from 7pm-9pm
Where: Hart House Lower Gym
Cost: If you register individually, $2. If you register with a FULL team of 6, $10.
Note:
- Must register before Tuesday, November 10, 2009 @ 11:59pm
- Students can register either at the TSA office during office hours or can send an email to one of the ACs (i'll provide contact information at the bottom)
- When registering, provide: 1) Team name, 2) names of all players & 3) Captain name and everyone's contact information!
- Bags and extra clothing are not permitted in the gym so players are responsible for bringing a lock
- Players can try their luck and drop in, but we can't guarantee that they will get a chance to play

Halloween Haunt at St. George

TSA!

Are you ready to put your books away for one night? Exhausted from memorizing those facts for your midterms? Ready to let loose with your fellow students? And most importantly, FOUND YOUR HALLOWEEN COSTUME YET!?!

Well if you haven't, its time to find it - because your UTSG TSA is
welcoming you to our annual TSA Halloween Party: HALLOWEEN HAUNT ON ST. GEORGE.

Bring your cameras, invite your friends and find those crazy costumes because its time to relax and bring back that little toddler in you who loved this day.

*This party will feature the first ever TSA Halloween Scavenger Hunt around UTSG!*

It'll be held on October 29th from 6-9 pm in the Hart House Debate Rooms. We encourage everyone to dress up and bring a bunch of people. Of course, if you don't want to wear a costume thats totally cool'

Tickets will be sold next week at the Gerstein Library entrance, or at the door.

Admission Prices:
$3.00 - no costume
$2.00 - with a costume

SickKids Walkathon This Sunday

Its time to get your runners on! Please, please, please attend this event if you have the chance. By walking with your fellow Tamil Canadians your helping raise money towards the SickKids foundation. Donations will go directly to the foundation to help improve the health of children through world-leading children's health research and care!
